Loanhead Church have been sponsoring a group of children to go to school for a number of years now.

The current trip would normally have taken place in January, primarily to organise school fees for the new academic year.
As ever, the good ladies of Loanhead and surrounds have been busy knitting fish and chip jumpers for children in Rwanda. We now even have contributions coming from North Berwick.
The new school year in Rwanda starts in early January. At one time, the beginning of term seemed to be a moving feast and announced only at the last minute. This is Africa!
We would normally head to Kigali early January to take care of school fees for the new academic year.
